OpenAI releases Codex Micro, $230 programmable macropad with Work Louder

According to The Verge and The New Stack, OpenAI released Codex Micro, a $230 square-shaped programmable macropad co-developed with Work Louder. The device is designed for its agentic coding platform and represents OpenAI's first hardware product, though the company is separately developing a screenless smart speaker with former Apple designer Jony Ive.
