HeimWall launches free Mac app to flag secrets and PII in AI prompts across Cursor, Claude Code, and Copilot

HeimWall released a free menu-bar application for macOS that detects secrets and personally identifiable information in AI prompts before they are sent to Cursor, Claude Code, or Copilot. The app runs entirely on-device with no account creation or network transmission, using deterministic regex rules to flag AWS access keys, GitHub tokens, private keys, JWTs, database URLs, SSNs, credit-card numbers, and emails with 25+ hand-written detection patterns.
