GitHub makes Kimi K2.7 Code available in Copilot, first open-weight model in model picker

According to GitHub's changelog, Kimi K2.7 Code is now generally available in GitHub Copilot as a selectable option, marking the first open-weight model offered in Copilot's model picker. The model is billed at provider list pricing and is rolling out to Copilot Pro, Pro+, and Max plans with gradual expansion to Copilot Business and Enterprise in coming weeks.
