Cursor earns AIUC-1 certification for agent security and reliability

Cursor announced it received AIUC-1 certification, a new standard for AI agent security, safety, and reliability that combines organizational audits with adversarial testing. According to Cursor, the certification was developed with input from over 100 Fortune 500 CISOs and technical contributions from MITRE, the Cloud Security Alliance, and Stanford researchers, translating frameworks including NIST AI Risk Management Framework and OWASP standards. Cursor said 70 percent of the Fortune 500 use its platform and increasingly assign agents to consequential work.
