Developers build Codex integrations for MIDI composition, gaming, and cross-agent communication

According to GitHub repositories, developers have created specialized Codex integrations including BeatFlow, which composes multi-track MIDI files from musical briefs by converting them into Python composition plans with explicit timing and chord voicing data. Agent Mesh, a separate MCP server, enables Codex to coordinate with Claude Code and other agents by allowing agents to list peers, open shared sessions, and exchange prompts.
